Before I’d never gotten why they’d mentioned ‘Griddlebone’ instead of say, Genghis or Growltiger. Then I saw Cats live again, and it all made sense. I’ll let you all discover it for yourselves rather than the simple task of telling you :-P

@Bridie4167 they don’t know for sure. they’re just saying it’s a rumor. if you listen the lyrics are, “and they say” so technically it’s not positive. at least that’s what I think
Ok here is my question, if they know mungojerrie works for Macavity then how come he is still allowed to be one of them, why haven’t they banished him?

I absolutely love this musical plus this is my all-time favorite movie. I watch this movie every chance i get plus i know all the words to all the songs. Most of my friends think im weird for liking this movie and watching it over a hundred times but i just tell them that i love this movie and it will never get old lol.

@Sinistra76 The first time I saw this, I thought Demeter was the red one and Bombalurina the gold one. Then I went on a fansite, and the label “Bombalurina” was over the red one, and I got confused, so I looked at the credits and it turned out I was wrong.

I used to watch Cats all the time when I was little. Now I just watched it again and distinctly remember the tune to this song and loving it as a kid. It’s always been my favorite song. <3
I always like to think Macavity is behind a hill of junk giggling his head off listening to this song.
in the one i saw, Plato/Macavity was freaking tall! like seriously, he was super tall and skinny, so when Macavity came on stage, we realized that it was the same actor. XD it was even funnier that my cousin who was like 8 at the time (she saw a different showing than me) came up to me a week after and i asked her who her favorite cat was and she said “MACAVITY! HE WAS SO TALL!!!”

Just noticed. Look at Demi and Bombi’s hair. Ginger, with a black and white stripe and then on the right a white and black stripe. And also on the left there’s like a pink stripe. They have the exact same coloring for their wigs. Hmm. x3
