Cats Don’t Dance (Part 4 of 8)

Part 4 of 8 for Turner Feature Animation’s “Cats Don’t Dance” (1997). Director Mark Dindal on the film’s original concept in 1993: ” It was more of a Broadway show and not the sort of Singin’ in the Rain movie that it ended up being. The songs they had were written by Richard Maltby Jr. and David Shier, who had worked on the stage musicals Big and Baby. There are stray cats that live among the sets and studio backlots and the film was originally a story about the lives of those cats. So the original story had actual cats on 4 legs that could speak; it was more along the lines of Lady and The Tramp.” Enjoy.

This movie is classic! =w=
I just watch some short, random clips from here and there.. wanted to figure if I should watch this or not. So far it got a laugh outta me several times. (Not bad for a couple of random 5-10 second clips). I figured if I watch this, I’ll either find it fun or just… just strange. Either way, don’t think I would lose anything watching this movie.
I’ll thank in advance in case I like the movie. And I’ll thank anyway for bringing a new… experience to my notion.

Criminey! Darla is so scary, it’s funny. Whenever she does one of her things, it’s like someone keeps opening up the gates of Hell.

@1000Flares ya she does.
I started biting the heads off of animal crackers after I watched this movie. I was 4 then and I’m 16 now, and that child is still scary.
@1000Flares because she is eating too many animal crackers.
You know, Darla is sorta like a combination between Shirley Temple and Angelica Pickles, but cranked up to the extreme.
