It amazes me at how much Darla’s expressions during the show reveal her immense shock at how every prop lever doesn’t make the entire theatre blow the fuck up. I mean, she’s pulling switches built to ENHANCE what’s happening onstage. What did she expect? Sawblades, nuclear explosions, and a firing squad?
